(Lee Ka-sing - The storm-after) |
After Kato Gyodai (1732-92)
Mid March
The snow stays
a crow creaks
under a shrub
I start the car
and turn the headlights
down the tunnel
of a stray cat’s eye
last year’s grass
tears at the soiled
ice
the wind is weak
but strong enough
to break off
a tree’s right arm
